Furn Object at Miami Art Week and Alcova: Collectible Design and Sculptural Furniture

Dear Reader,

Is your December hectic too? Ours certainly is, but we're thrilled to share so many exciting updates from Furn Object.

We started the month by participating in not one, but two exhibitions in one week, presenting our design pieces on an international stage.

We had such a blast at last year’s Alcova Miami, we simply had to be there again. This time we joined the Room-File space "Resting on a Thunder Cloud".

It’s a story of seeking refuge within turbulence, finding solace not in the absence of unrest, but within it. Here, the storm becomes a sanctuary.

Our Echo Screen is a sculptural piece that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the promise of new beginnings. It felt like a perfect fit for the theme, drawing the attention of visitors, including Bjarke Ingels of BIG.

This limited edition piece was joined by our Barvinok Table in Silver, and the Lucky Akebia Desk Lamp.

We spent the week between Alcova and Disco + Design at Miami Art Week – one of the key events for collectible design and contemporary furniture in the US.

Curated by Michael Dolatowski and Michelle Leshem, the event explored the dialogue between music and design.

We were showing our Barvinok Table, the Liquid Rack in brass, and the Valun Chair, featured in the December issue of AD Germany.

We can’t wait to see what the next year brings. In the meantime, we’re wishing you Happy Holidays and a cozy time with your loved ones.

Warmly,

Anna & Sergii Baierzdorf
