Liquid Rack L Steel | Collectible Designer Shelving by Furn Object
The Liquid Rack L Steel is a sculptural stainless steel shelving unit inspired by the elements of metal and water. Its lightly textured surface shimmers in sunlight like the surface of the sea, transforming a functional storage piece into an expressive object for the interior.
Designed to make a traditionally massive piece of furniture feel light and graceful, the Liquid Rack combines simple geometric forms with Furn Object's signature fluid aesthetic. The large-scale shelving unit creates a strong architectural presence while remaining visually open.
The Liquid Rack L Steel is handcrafted by multigenerational artisans from stainless steel using the traditional hand-chasing technique. Rarely used today, this technique gives the metal its distinctive textured surface and creates subtle variations in how it reflects light.
The L size is available in three different height options, while the complete Liquid Collection features a side table and racks in nine sizes and three materials: brass, TiN and steel. This range allows the shelving system to be adapted to different interiors, proportions, and storage needs.
The Liquid Rack was inspired by the surface of the Black Sea as seen from the shores of Odesa, where Furn Object is rooted. The designers, Anna and Sergii Baierzdorf, wanted to translate the movement and changing reflections of water into a durable metal object.
The result is a functional statement piece that feels almost like an aesthetic sculpture. Its open structure provides storage and display space while bringing a relaxed yet elevated quality to an interior.

You’ll find the studio's hallmark and serial number under the tops of each table, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Manufacturing
The Liquid Racks are hand-forged in Ukraine by local artisans. They cut the steel and then use the chasing metalwork technique to give the table a textured surface.
The tables are made from stainless steel, an extremely durable material that will last for years. The table is 100% recyclable, we have not used any additional details from other materials.
